Sevilla has an extensive background in the 3D world, working with some of the most famous world renowned artists of our time. But it wasn’t until a couple of years ago when an injury had her rethink and adapt to a whole new medium: painting.
In her most recent years, Sevilla explores her ability and understanding in the power of illusion.
Bio
Sea Sevilla is a queer, Mexican-American multimedia artist based in Seaside, California, with a background in Sculpture and Photography from Humboldt State University. After working in fine art production and collaborating with international artists at the Monterey Sculpture Center, she contributed to major projects like the “Comfort Women Memorial” in San Francisco. In recent years, she has shifted her focus to painting and now creates murals throughout the Monterey Peninsula.
